The fourth Future Technologies Forum will be held on February 25-26, 2026 at the World Trade Center in Moscow. In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Forum will be devoted to the formation of bioeconomics in the Russian Federation and the application of biotechnologies in economic sectors.
The upcoming Forum will bring together Russian and foreign scientists, leading scientific organizations, major manufacturers, technology leaders in the field of bioeconomics, and key agencies overseeing the implementation of the national project to ensure technological leadership in the field of Bioeconomics, which will launch in Russia in 2026.
The National Bioeconomics project is aimed at the rational use of biological resources and the use of biotechnologies in scientific, technological and economic activities. The national project provides for measures for the development and implementation of biotechnologies in the agro-industrial complex, veterinary medicine, industry, ecology, timber industry, medicine and energy. The goal of the national project is to achieve technological sovereignty in the bioeconomy by 2030 by reducing import dependence by 2 times, and by 2036 by creating conditions for the formation of new markets and technological leadership.
The Forum will host a traditional exhibition where market leaders, high-tech enterprises and scientific organizations will present cutting-edge developments and the latest innovative solutions in the field of bioeconomics. The exhibition participants will demonstrate projects at various stages of implementation, from laboratory development to industrial applications.
On the eve of the Future Technologies Forum, a scientific conference dedicated to promising research in the field of bioeconomics will be held.
