Moscow will host the IV Russian Design Industry Forum, a key federal platform for discussing the role of design in the development of the domestic economy and industry. On April 14, the events will be held at the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin, on April 15-16 – in the space of the National Center "Russia". The main topic of this year's forum will be "Design as a strategy: a formula for the success of a domestic product." The forum will bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, businesses, creative industries, educational institutions, and regional teams to discuss the systemic role of design in shaping competitive domestic products and new industrial strategies. The forum is focused on solving key industry tasks, including the introduction of advanced design standards in industry and the public sector, stimulating demand for high-quality domestic design, developing human resources and forming a training system for specialists capable of creating world-class products, as well as popularizing Russian product solutions based on a deep understanding of the consumer and a unique cultural code. The organizers of the IV Russian Design Industry Forum are the Roscongress Foundation and the Union of Designers of Russia. The forum is co-organized by the National Center "Russia" and the Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin.
