The IX Russian-Chinese EXPO will be held in Yekaterinburg from July 7 to 10, 2025. This is one of the most important events for the development of economic cooperation between Russia and China, which will be held in parallel with the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM-2025 at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO venues.
The previous VIII Russian-Chinese EXPO was held in May 2024 in Harbin, the capital of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang. The event was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. The Russian exposition occupied more than 3,500 square meters, which housed 233 companies from 16 regions of Russia. Over 300,000 people visited the exhibition in five days.
This year, more than 300 companies from China will participate in the IX Russian-Chinese EXPO in Yekaterinburg. Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region, wrote about this in his telegram channel. He noted that a separate pavilion will be allocated for their Chinese partners.
– EXPO traditionally includes a large-scale exhibition and an extensive business program. The main official event of the EXPO business program will be the Fifth Russian-Chinese Forum on Interregional Cooperation. At the initiative of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, the forum will host an exchange of business contacts between representatives of the Sverdlovsk Region's business community and partners from the provinces of China," Vyacheslav Yarin explained.
The total area of the exhibition exceeds 10,000 square meters, where more than 2,000 participants will be represented. The business program will cover more than 40 thematic events.
The Russian-Chinese EXPO is considered one of the most significant trade and industrial platforms, contributing to the expansion and diversification of partnership between Russia and China, as well as the development of satellite projects and technological exchange. The event traditionally attracts high-ranking representatives of countries and helps to use the investment opportunities of the world's leading economists.
