The Regional Development Corporation will conduct excursions for young northerners. Students of grades 8-11, students of vocational schools, universities and participants of youth organizations are invited to open days.
The guys will learn what investment projects are being implemented in the Murmansk region, who investors are and what work with them is, as well as how the construction of new enterprises affects the lives of people in their hometown. In a playful way, they will be told about promising industries that are developing in the region, and for which specialists employers are racing today.
"Now the format of excursions to enterprises is gaining popularity again, in a way, the Development Corporation is also an enterprise. We have prepared an interesting program to tell in an easy and understandable way about serious things that affect the life of every person living in the region. We are sure that the information received can help the guys with further career guidance and employment," said Artem Kuksa, General Director of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation.
Excursions will take place several times a month for organized groups of up to 15 people. A homeroom teacher, a representative of an educational institution, or a group leader (headman, curator, etc.) can get acquainted with the rules and apply for a visit to the Development Corporation through the Investment Portal (section "Schoolchildren and students") by the link.
The first participants of the open day were sophomores from Murmansk Arctic University, students majoring in Economics and Foreign Economic Activity. After the tour of the Development Corporation, several young people decided to continue their acquaintance with the work of the escorts of investment projects during the internship.
Recall that the Murmansk Region Development Corporation is a specialized organization for working with investors in the region, authorized to represent the interests of the government of the Murmansk region. In the summer of 2023, employees of the Development Corporation held lessons "Live, study, work in the North!" for two hundred young northerners from different municipalities. The lessons were positively evaluated by the Regional Ministry of Education. In addition, since 2023, the Development Corporation has been cooperating with Murmansk Arctic University and admits students to practice, during which they get their first real work experience in their specialty.
