Murmansk region has risen by 17 positions in the rating of public-private partnership development

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the rating of regional development by the level of public-private partnership for 2023. The Murmansk Region took the 20th place in Russia, rising 17 positions in the rating, and ranks 3rd in the North-Western Federal District. 
 


"The Murmansk Region is actively developing infrastructure, attracting investments and creating favorable conditions for business. The rating data confirms that the joint efforts of the authorities and the business community are yielding results and the number of partner projects is increasing," said Andrey Chibis, Governor of the Murmansk Region.  


 
The total cost of projects under agreements of various forms of public-private partnership with business exceeded 140 billion rubles.  
 
Projects in the field of public-private partnership are currently being actively implemented in the Murmansk Region, covering various fields of activity: housing and communal services, projects in the field of energy conservation, industry, sports, tourism and others. In particular, in 2023, a number of concession agreements were signed aimed at developing infrastructure and improving the living conditions of residents of the region.
