The Ministry of Culture of the Murmansk Region announces the start of accepting applications for grants for creative entrepreneurs. Individual entrepreneurs and organizations that work in the field of culture and art can receive up to 400 thousand rubles for the implementation of their projects.
Grant support is aimed at creating high-demand creative products and services that can generate stable income. First of all, support will be given to projects that reflect the unique spirit of the Kola Arctic, strengthen the image of the Murmansk region as a cultural center of the Arctic and contribute to the development of the cultural life of the region.
Applications are accepted from March 10 to April 8 through the Electronic Budget system (the Portal of state financial support). The winners must implement their ideas by the end of December 2026. The grant program for creative entrepreneurs was launched on the initiative of Governor Andrey Chibis in 2023 as part of the strategic plan "Live in the North!" and has already proved its effectiveness. During this time, 14 entrepreneurs have received support, who have developed unique products based on the cultural and historical heritage of the Kola Arctic. Among them are creative projects, souvenir production, clothing collections, unusual fishing equipment, immersive excursions, festivals and board games with local history themes. For creative entrepreneurs, this program is a great opportunity not only to realize their ideas, but also to contribute to the development of the cultural sphere of the region.
