Murmansk region takes part in the first national competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia", organized by the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. Residents of the region will be able to support local producers on the official website of the event from November 19 to December 2.
The competition received more than 500 applications from 79 regions of the country. From the Murmansk region, Kola cloudberry sauce (LLC "Kola Krai"), Murmansk cod liver (GC FEST), lovozersk sausages (LLC "Reindir") are submitted for voting») and Kola brew (LLC "Murmanskie"). Regional brands will be evaluated in three categories: "Try it, you'll love it", "From our village","Delicious nearby".
The mission of the national competition "Tastes of Russia" is to introduce consumers to the variety of tastes of the country and show the potential for the development of regional food brands. It is also intended to draw attention to the achievements of small and medium-sized businesses in the agricultural sector and help create new growth points for rural areas of Russia.
Summing up the results of the competition Commission will be held from December 9 to 11.
