During the working visit to the Murmansk region, the delegation of the Republic of Belarus inspected a number of production sites. Governor Andrey Chibis and representatives of companies told the guests about the largest infrastructure projects being implemented in the region.
Representatives of Belarus assessed the scale of the Center for the Construction of large-tonnage offshore structures of PJSC NOVATEK in Belokamenka, the specialized terminal for transshipment of mineral fertilizers Tuloma, inspected the construction sites of the coal transshipment complex of the port Lavna.
The guests were also shown from the boat the advantages of the Kola Bay water area and the possible location of the terminal for transshipment of Belarusian export cargo, the project of which is being worked out during the visit.
The delegation visited the Murmansk Sea Station with an excursion on board the first nuclear icebreaker "Lenin".
Today, the visit program will continue with an inspection of the facilities of FSUE Atomflot and acquaintance with the work of the Naval Operations Headquarters.
In addition, there will be a meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Murmansk region and the signing of a number of agreements between the companies of the region and Belarusian partners: for the supply of goods, equipment and spare parts, buses and trolleybuses.
