The Federal Center will support the construction of infrastructure for new housing in Murmansk

The Governor attended the Headquarters under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

The Murmansk Region will receive significant financial support from the federal budget for the construction of heating networks for a new residential complex. The decision to allocate funds was made at a meeting in the Government of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"Thank you, Marat Shakirzyanovich, the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Territorial Development Fund, and the federal ministries involved for their cooperation, assistance, and the opportunity to implement such important events for the regions. The money will be used to provide heat to the Glorax Kolsky housing complex under construction. This is more than 106 thousand square meters of new housing," said Andrey Chibis.

The Murmansk Region's engineering infrastructure project has been successfully selected and approved for a Treasury infrastructure loan. The funds will be provided for a period of up to 15 years at 3% per annum. This mechanism allows you to solve several key tasks at once: it simplifies and speeds up the process of connecting developers to, significantly reduces their costs of creating infrastructure, which, ultimately, can have a positive impact on the formation of the final cost of housing for Northerners.

"We have taken another step in the implementation of the Treasury infrastructure loans program — we have just approved a new allocation of funds for the regions. These are housing and communal services modernization projects, as well as work on the integrated development of the Far East and the Arctic. In total, more than 41 billion rubles, which will be used to improve the quality of life of people in 19 regions. There is a lot of work ahead, the tasks are large-scale, and it is impossible to lose the pace of work. It now depends on the efficiency of the regional teams how quickly people will see the concrete results of this work," said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

Residents of the Murmansk region have become more active in buying apartments in new buildings in the region, especially on the Arctic Mortgage. Currently, 20 apartment buildings are being built in the region, and over 350 apartments have already been purchased in them. At the same time, more than half are on the Arctic Mortgage at 2%. Also, on the initiative of the head of the region, Andrei Chibis, since July 1, the methodology for calculating the average cost per square meter for preferential programs has changed — it has been brought closer to the market price. Previously, due to low indicators, many new buildings did not fall under the "Arctic mortgage". Now there are more apartments available for purchase.

In total, it is planned to build about one million square meters of housing in the region in the next 10 years as part of the master plans of the main agglomerations and the plan "Live in the North!".
