The Government of the Russian Federation announced auctions in the Kolmozersk and Polmostundra deposits. This was announced today by Governor Andrey Chibis at the final press conference.
"The results will be announced at the beginning of next year. This is a huge amount of investment and tax return. We have been working closely on this with the federal government. The project is important for the socio-economic development of the Murmansk region, its implementation will create more than 1,000 jobs. Over the entire period of the project implementation, the total amount of tax deductions to the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation will amount to about 450 billion rubles, of which 185 billion rubles will go to the regional budget," the head of the region said.
