The head of the region, Andrey Chibis, held a business breakfast with entrepreneurs and business associations of the Murmansk region. The meeting was attended by the self-employed, individual entrepreneurs, heads of joint-stock companies, and heads of executive authorities.

The event was moderated by Marta Govor, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Murmansk Region.

The meeting was held in an informal setting, representatives of the business community asked the governor questions on topics of concern to them: support for small and medium-sized businesses in the region, tax preferences. Young businessmen who associate their activities with the Murmansk region and want to develop new industries in the region and provide services in various sectors of the economy also spoke.

"It is important that there are many active Northerners in the Murmansk Region today who offer their initiatives, and we are ready to consider them. There are a number of different measures in place in the region to support entrepreneurs in the Kola Arctic. One of the tasks is targeted support for small and medium–sized businesses," the governor said.

In addition, the entrepreneurs noted the importance of the International Arctic Forum held in March. During the days of IAF-2025, hotels, catering, and tourist facilities had high occupancy rates. The businessmen suggested to Andrey Chibis to consider the possibility of building a new congress center, which is necessary to increase the efficiency of large-scale business events. The governor noted that work in this direction is underway and now there are three versions of the future project.

The live communication took place within the framework of the Entrepreneurship Days, which are held annually in the region as part of the strategic plan "Live in the North!".
