The Regional center hosted the II Regional Forum "Young Business of the Arctic", a key platform for starting and developing businesses in the Kola Arctic, where young entrepreneurs were able to share success stories and learn about business development prospects in the Murmansk Region.
Veronika Gnatko, Head of the Department of State Support for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants, noting the importance of holding such events and their practical orientation.
"The Forum is not just a platform for sharing experiences, but also a starting point for implementing bold ideas. We are creating conditions for young entrepreneurs to launch and scale projects in the Arctic," Veronika Gnatko said.
Support for small and medium–sized businesses is one of the directions of the strategic plan "Live in the North!".
"Youth entrepreneurship is actively developing in the Murmansk region. Young people create their own businesses, come up with interesting projects and help the economy grow. At the same time, they find jobs themselves and create additional jobs. Holding such forums and meetings for young entrepreneurs helps someone to take the first step, and someone to develop an existing project," said the Chairman of the Murmansk Region Youth Policy Committee Maria Chernysheva.
The forum brought together more than 15 top speakers - successful entrepreneurs and experts who shared their practical knowledge for starting and developing projects.
Master classes in marketing, finance, franchising and creative industries, networking with market leaders and a raffle of prizes from forum partners were also held for the participants.
The forum is organized by the regional representative of the community of young entrepreneurs "Rosmolodezh.business" by Anna Pavlova in the framework of the Days of Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk region.
The Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, together with the My Business Center, is implementing business support measures under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
