The Future Technologies Forum, which will be held on February 20-21, 2025 in Moscow, will bring together Russian and foreign scientists, industry leaders, technology entrepreneurs and experts. The main topic of the Forum is "New materials and chemistry".
"Technological leadership, the national goal of the Russian Federation, can be achieved only through an innovative economy, where the continuous process of developing and implementing breakthrough technologies in production is a priority. New materials and chemicals serve as the foundation for many industries, and their innovative development provides leadership in other areas. During the Future Technologies Forum, participants will discuss mechanisms to support the new materials industry, which will further stimulate domestic consumption and export of high–tech products, and support the innovative development of the entire economy," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the organizing Committee of the Future Technologies Forum.
On the eve of the Forum, on February 18-19, a scientific conference "Materials of Future Technologies" is being held, where scientists engaged in the search, synthesis, testing and application of new materials in promising developments present their research.
Last year, more than 1,800 people from 19 countries took part in the Forum. This year, the participants will discuss key issues and prospects for the development of the industry of new materials and chemicals, innovative areas and investment-attractive projects. As part of the event, Russian corporations, high-tech businesses and scientific organizations will present technological developments at the exhibition.
The Forum's program includes discussions on the technological and scientific priorities of the industry, investments in current projects and expansion of production, personnel training, regulatory improvement and other significant aspects. Experts, scientists, suppliers and manufacturers take part in the events, which provides a comprehensive view of the industry's future.
The Future Technologies Forum will conclude with a summing up and formulation of proposals for the development of the industry of new materials and chemicals.
