From August 8-9, 2024, the II Arctic – Regions Forum will be held in Arkhangelsk with the support of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. The event is organized by the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region, co–organized by NEVA International. Rosatom State Corporation became the titular partner of the Forum. The Forum will be attended by experts from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (Far East Development Corporation).
The participants of the discussion will discuss the development of infrastructure and living space to increase the comfort of living in the Russian Arctic, migration policy and its impact on the availability of personnel beyond the Arctic circle. Experts will share the practice of applying innovative approaches to human resource management, talk about the cooperation of universities with industrial enterprises, as well as the implementation of educational programs for the training and retraining of personnel that meet the needs of the Arctic economy.
Representatives of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, regional ministries, KRDV, specialists in personnel and personnel development of Rosatom State Corporation, Gazprom Neft, Zarubezhneft, Norilsk Nickel, USC, etc. are invited to the dialogue.
