The International Conference and Exhibition on Oil and Gas Development in the Russian Arctic and the Continental Shelf of the CIS countries (hereinafter referred to as RAO / CIS Offshore, Forum) will be held from 21 to 24 September 2021 in St. Petersburg.
The RAO / CIS Offshore Forum has been held since 1993 and has gained international recognition over its more than twenty-year history and retains its status as a leading national forum, the main discussion platform, where the entire range of problems of developing Arctic and continental shelf deposits and applying the latest technologies in this area is discussed.
Business program of the International conference formed under the coordinating role of the Ministry of energy, Russian Academy of Sciences and the active participation of leading Russian companies involved in offshore development and implementation of major oil and gas projects in the Arctic. Members of the Government of the Russian Federation, heads of federal executive authorities, subjects of the Russian Federation, major international mining and service companies, industrial enterprises, and representatives of the scientific community plan to personally participate in the event.
Taking into account the Russian Federation's chairmanship in the Arctic Council in 2021-2023 and the issues on the Arctic Ocean shelf development outlined in the agenda, much attention will be paid to international cooperation in various aspects of the development of the Arctic seas and territories. The business program will be accompanied by an exhibition of companies whose activities are focused on the exploration, production and transportation of marine energy resources.
