The main topic of the Conference: "GPC of the Arctic. A new development paradigm"
The conference is held under the patronage of the Supreme Mining Council of NP "Mining Industrialists of Russia" and with the support of the Government of the Murmansk region.
Sustainable development of the mining complex is one of the priority areas of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Today, the development of the GPC of the AZ of the Russian Federation is challenged. Further development of the mining complex can be formed only on the basis of systematic interaction of the state, commercial and non-profit organizations and civil society using mechanisms of public-private partnership in the implementation of key investment projects, state participation in the elimination of restrictions on economic development, the creation of economic mechanisms to stimulate economic activity.
We invite you to take part in the MGPC BEAR – 2022, which will allow exchanging opinions, ideas, and experience between specialists of the mining industry, the fuel and energy sector, representatives of state, scientific and public organizations, and mining service entrepreneurs in a difficult situation of sanctions restrictions.
We are confident that MGPC BEAR 2022 will make a significant contribution to ensuring the sustainable development of the mining complex of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation based on domestic technologies, increasing the complexity of the use of mineral resources, strengthening scientific and industrial cooperation in the region.
MGPK BEAR 2022 will provide you with a unique opportunity to meet and communicate with the heads and leading specialists of foreign BEAR companies, the five largest mining companies of the Kola Peninsula, members of the PhosAgro, EuroChem, Severstal, Norilsk Nickel and Akron industrial groups. The meetings will be held in a business (in sections, round tables, exhibition stands) and informal setting (during breaks and on the sidelines of the conference).
MGPK BEAR will be held in Kirovsk for the eleventh time. For 10 years of fruitful work of the international conference in Kirovsk, a platform has been created to discuss the problems and prospects of the mining industry, exchange experience between Russian and foreign enterprises for the extraction and processing of solid minerals in the Arctic zone. The conference has proved its high status and attractiveness for the business community, including at the international level.
Traditionally, significant dates for the enterprises of the Murmansk region are reflected on the site and in the materials of the conference. So, in 2014, the 65th anniversary of OLKON was celebrated within the framework of the MGPC, and in 2017 - the 55th anniversary of the Kovdorsky GOK. 2019 was an anniversary year for two general sponsors of the conference at once - the Kirov branch of JSC Apatit and JSC OLKON. Apatit JSC celebrated its 90th anniversary, and Olenegorsky GOK celebrated its 70th anniversary. In 2020, the Kola Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences celebrated its 90th anniversary and the Mining Institute, which is part of it, celebrated its 60th anniversary. Along with the veterans of the mining industry of the Murmansk region, younger enterprises such as JSC "NWFC", which turned 15 in 2021, and JSC "Fedorovo Resources" are opening a new era of development of the mining industry in the Arctic.
