The project was implemented thanks to the funds provided by the Governor's Start grant as part of the implementation of the strategic plan "To live in the North" initiated by the Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis. The support is aimed at the implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives and is most popular among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.

The children's culinary studio "Piece of Happiness" offers holiday and leisure services for families with children. Cooking workshops will be held in the studio, where participants will be able to learn how to cook basic dishes and master the art of baking. The studio also plans to sell confectionery products with an emphasis on Arctic cuisine, which will help bring unique Arctic notes to the culinary traditions of the region.

The project was developed by individual entrepreneur Evgenia Perfilieva, who applied for participation in the Gubernatorial Start contest in the spring of 2024 and became one of the winners. The grant funds received made it possible to pay for the rental of premises, advertising services and purchase the necessary equipment for the opening of the studio.

The opening of the children's culinary studio "Piece of Happiness" is a step towards improving socio—economic indicators in the region and developing entrepreneurial activity in closed settlements of the Murmansk region.

The opening ceremony was attended by Veronika Gnatko, Head of the Department of State Support for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region. She noted: "The culinary studio is a great place to spend children's leisure time usefully in the original and fascinating format of a culinary master class. I am sure that the children will be happy to learn how to cook new or favorite dishes, master the basic steps in cooking. The opening of a studio in Severomorsk will create an additional opportunity for informal communication."
