On August 7-8, a number of events of the Coordinating Council for Industry took place in Tolyatti. One of the main events was a joint meeting of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation on Industry, the Coordinating Council for Industry and the Coordinating Council for Import Substitution in the Chemical and Petrochemical Industries.
The main topic is new materials and chemistry. It is relevant for the Arctic region, taking into account the development of the chemical industry in the region, as well as the implementation of lithium projects important for the whole country and the project to develop Lovozersky GOK as the main source of raw materials for creating a complete and sovereign chain of production of separated rare earth oxides.
"Events such as the Industrial Coordination Council held in Tolyatti are extremely important for building a common direction for the development of regions and forming a common understanding of the goals and objectives set for regional authorities. Thanks to the involvement of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and personally Anton Andreevich Alikhanov, we can clearly outline the vector of development of the chemical industry and move together to achieve our goals," said Svetlana Panfilova.
A delegation of government officials in this area, led by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, also visited key enterprises in the Samara region.
