Governor Andrey Chibis and Chairman of the Management Board of Aquilon Group Alexander Frolov signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for the implementation of a large-scale investment project in the Pervomaisky district of Murmansk on Shabalin St. On a plot of 6.4 hectares, the developer will erect 74 thousand square meters of new housing. At the same time, 7% of the residential area will be transferred to the Murmansk region. The total investment of Aquilon Group in the project will amount to about 10 billion rubles.
"Thanks to the Arctic mortgage supported by President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the active work of the Government team, the interest of investors and developers in the Murmansk region is growing, and the number of housing is increasing. We are grateful to Aquilon for their cooperation. Shabalin Street is a very good area for residents. The project has been worked out in detail, and the region provides all necessary assistance. We expect that construction will begin in the next few months. As a result, Northerners will have more opportunities to purchase high-quality modern housing on preferential terms of an Arctic or Family mortgage. Our colleagues have extensive experience in implementing projects in the Arctic and in the North, including in the Arkhangelsk region, and we expect that everything will be done on time with high quality," said Andrey Chibis.
Alexander Frolov, Chairman of the Management Board of Aquilon Group, noted that thanks to the efforts of the Murmansk Region government and personally Governor Andrey Chibis, favorable conditions have been created in the region for investment in housing construction. This is the second project that the company is implementing in Murmansk, consistently increasing the volume of new housing construction in the region.
"Aquilon Group sets ambitious goals for itself in the Arctic: the creation of modern residential complexes with developed infrastructure, the introduction of energy-efficient technologies and the creation of new jobs. We are confident that our contribution will become a tangible impetus for the economic and social development of the region, and Murmansk will become a vivid example of how innovation and caring for people can transform lives for the better. For this project, we plan to enter the construction site and launch sales within 2-3 months. The implementation will take place in 5 stages. The key factor ensuring the sustainability of projects remains preferential Arctic mortgages at 2%. This tool directly affects demand and allows developers to plan large projects without the risk of freezing or shortage of buyers," said Alexander Frolov.
According to the head of the company, the federal developer has considerable experience in the construction of facilities in conditions of extreme weather and difficult soils. The unique technologies and solutions used by the company meet all the requirements for comfortable living in the harsh climate of the Arctic. In particular, the energy-efficient thermal insulation technology Termo-S is used, which meets the requirements of the northern regions. Together with the implementation of the inHome 3.0 home management system, this will reduce heat loss in apartments by 50%.
It should be noted that in November last year, Aquilon Group signed an agreement for the integrated development of the territory in the Leninsky district of Murmansk. The 16.4-hectare site is located on Machtovaya Gora on Verkhne-Rostinsky Highway. Under the CRT agreement, the developer will erect 127 thousand square meters of housing for 4.2 thousand people. The master plan includes walking areas, a park and squares. It is also planned to create playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as comprehensive landscaping and landscaping. For the further development of the territory, Aquilon Group acquired an adjacent 3.4 ha plot, on which it is planned to build another 30 thousand square meters of housing. The total investment under the CRT will amount to 13.7 billion rubles, with a 10-year implementation period.
Thanks to the systematic work of Governor Andrey Chibis and the regional government, large-scale housing construction has been launched in the Murmansk Region. It is planned to build 1 million square meters of housing in the next 10 years.
