The Pomodoro pizzeria has opened in Polyarnoye. The project was implemented thanks to support measures provided to Arctic entrepreneurs within the framework of the strategic plan "Live in the North!".
In July 2024, individual entrepreneur Elena Ionkina became one of the winners of the grant competition for the development of franchising in the region. The funds received were invested in the renovation of the premises, the purchase of equipment and the promotion of the institution.
Pizzeria Pomodoro is a space combining authentic Italian cuisine and modern design. The menu includes a variety of pizzas prepared according to traditional recipes, as well as snacks and drinks. The stylish interior creates a special atmosphere for family dinners and friendly gatherings.
"Opening a pizzeria is part of a strategy to improve the quality of life in closed settlements. I am sure that here you can have a good time with your loved ones, celebrate an important event or just enjoy your favorite dish," said Veronika Gnatko, Head of the Department of State Support for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region.
The project contributes not only to the expansion of the gastronomic infrastructure in the region, but also to the creation of new jobs.
"The Pomodoro project is an example of a successful combination of private initiative and government support aimed at developing small businesses in the Arctic regions. The institution will become a universal platform for informal communication between residents," said Anna Koltso, Acting Director of GOBU MRIBI.
