At an operational meeting, the Minister of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk Region, Marta Govor, presented the results of the additional selection of the Governor's Start, a competition to support entrepreneurial initiatives. Recall that before the second stage, on behalf of Governor Andrei Chibis, the procedure for submitting documents was finalized and simplified. This allowed even more entrepreneurs to announce their projects.
192 applications were received in the additional selection, 17 participants became winners, 7 of them were young entrepreneurs under the age of 35. For the first time in the history of Gubernatorial Start, a schoolboy was among the winners: 17-year-old Alexey Morozov from Apatity presented an innovative project of 3D-printed solutions for import substitution in alpine skiing.
The total amount of project support from the regional budget will amount to 24.7 million rubles.
"The winners also provided co-financing for a total amount of 7.6 million rubles. This clearly demonstrates the high involvement of the participants, their willingness to invest their own funds in the development of their business," said Marta Govor.
The geography and areas of the projects are diverse: creative spaces, catering, consumer services, manufacturing, entertainment, and the social sphere. Among the best are the production of peptide raw materials from sea urchin, a domestic CRM platform, a media space for content, and a sauna complex. The project of the participant of the SVO on interior decoration of houses and the initiative of the mother of four children, awarded with the medal "Maternal Glory", were also supported – she plans to purchase equipment for the opening of a dental office with the grant funds.
