The event took place at the site of the Center for the Construction of Large-tonnage Offshore Structures of NOVATEK-Murmansk in Belokamenka.
"We have just looked at the plant for the production of plants that NOVATEK has built here, near Murmansk. Of course, for the development of the region, for the Murmansk port – how many, in my opinion, 56 million were transported there last year - if such projects are implemented, then, indeed, in five or six years there will be at least a doubling of opportunities, especially since a new port is being built here, construction is in full swing", – the head of state emphasized.
Andrey Chibis noted that today the readiness of the Lavna port is 68%.
"It is an anchor object of the Murmansk transport hub. The President of Russia has repeatedly noted the importance of implementing the project of its comprehensive modernization. Let me remind you that the first cargo on the MTU will go at the end of this year. The Murmansk transport hub will provide loading of the Northern Sea Route," said the head of the region Andrey Chibis.
