Andrey Chibis: the issue of gasification of the region has moved from a dead point

Today in Moscow, the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis, took part in a meeting in the Government of Russia chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, at which the possibilities of gasification of the Murmansk Region and Karelia were discussed. Several options were considered, including the construction of a main gas pipeline.

"After we began to actively attract investors to the Arctic, the issue of gasification of the region began to move from the dead end. According to expert estimates, the main consumers of gas will be the residents of the AZ of the Russian Federation and the TOP. If we get our way, gasification will affect all northerners. And we are only glad that the Arctic investment projects will help in solving the urgent problem, " Andrey Chibis commented on the results of the meeting in social networks.

According to the governor, it is too early to talk about a final solution to the issue, but the Russian government, represented by Alexander Novak, is carefully listening to the arguments of the Murmansk region. In addition, the position of the region is actively supported by the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov.
