For entrepreneurs and those who plan to open their own business, today, on March 4, the annual exhibition "B2B EXPO"was held in the Business Support Center of the Murmansk Region. The Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region Olga Kuznetsova addressed the participants of the exhibition with a welcoming speech.
"Of course, we are glad that the epidemiological situation today allows us to hold this important event for entrepreneurs. This year, we have improved the format, focusing on interactive content. The Open Space platform will allow participants to establish business contacts, talk about their business and gain new knowledge about how to conduct their business more effectively, " the Vice-Governor stressed.
For entrepreneurs, a training seminar was held on the trends of modern marketing. The exhibition program was divided into 3 streams of 7 sessions lasting 25 minutes, so that everyone could choose exactly the direction that they need.
The event was attended by more than 70 people, representatives of the regional business community, as well as the infrastructure for supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the Murmansk region. In the format of a dialogue, any entrepreneur could ask questions of interest, including about state support for business.
"The government of the region pays special attention to creating a favorable business climate in the region. We have taken a number of support measures during the difficult period of coronavirus infection, for example, anti-crisis microloans up to one million rubles, one hundred percent compensation for the costs incurred in paying utility bills, rent. Now the pandemic is receding, but we continue to support entrepreneurs. So, since March 1, interest rates on loans have been reduced in the region, for women and entrepreneurs from single-industry towns the rate is only 4 percent, which is lower than inflation, " Olga Kuznetsova said.
