Arctic regions have been allocated funding for the development of social infrastructure

"Tax deductions from the implementation of investment projects of residents of the preferential regimes of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation will be directed to initiatives that are significant for people," said the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting of the Russian government.

On behalf of the President, the necessary changes have been made to the legislation.

In addition, more than 2.5 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of social infrastructure in the Arctic regions of the country in 2023.

These funds will allow to build and repair kindergartens, schools, hospitals, polyclinics, sports grounds, cultural centers. Part of the money will be spent on the purchase of equipment for medical institutions and the construction of paramedic and obstetric stations. Priority development of social infrastructure in the Arctic will bring the standard of living in the North to a fundamentally different level.
