A working meeting was held in Murmansk between Governor Andrey Chibis and Chairman of the Board of Directors, President of the Osnova Group of Companies Alexander Ruchev. The main issue is the progress of the project "Arctic Aquathermal sports and recreation complex" in the regional center on Podgornaya Street. The facility is included in the master plan for the development of the Murmansk agglomeration.
"Today we will discuss the status of the project, the deadlines for the start of construction and the start of landscaping. I thank all my colleagues for their serious approach to the preparatory work and the creation of the necessary infrastructure for high–quality leisure for Northerners and guests of the Arctic capital," the governor said.
Recall that in 2024, a concession agreement on construction was signed between the regional government and the Osnova Group of Companies, which is an investor in this project.
The investment project to create the Arctic Aquathermal Sports and Recreation Complex Regional Health and Recreation Center is being implemented on the principles of public-private partnership. The multifunctional complex will be a year-round resort for recreation and recreation of northerners, as well as guests of the Kola Arctic. The project was developed on behalf of the head of the region, Andrey Vladimirovich Chibis, as part of the strategic plan "Live in the North!".
