Moscow is preparing to host the II All—Russian Municipal Forum Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia

From April 21 to 23, Moscow will host one of the key events for the country's local government system — the II All—Russian Municipal Forum "Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia."

The scale of the event is impressive: about 4,000 participants from 89 regions — representatives of municipalities, federal and regional authorities, business, the expert community and public organizations. The forum is being held on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The organizer is the All—Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

The forum program includes more than 20 panel sessions, expert discussions and dialogues. The second All-Russian municipal award "Service", the investment forum and the festival of cultures "The Heart of the Motherland" are also planned.

"The Forum has become a real point of attraction for everyone who develops their territories. Last year, representatives of 82 regions took part in it, and 89 are expected this year. This indicates that interest in the forum and, most importantly, in field work is growing," said Irina Guseva, Co—Chair of the WARMSU.

This year, special attention is being paid to the results of the regional days, which were held in 16 regions of the country. The best management solutions developed on topics such as ecology, economics, a comfortable environment and business support will be presented at the main venue in Moscow.

The purpose of the forum is to unite the efforts of all levels of government, experts and society for the systemic development of municipalities and strengthening the role of local government in the country.
