Active work continues on the construction site of the Kola Lights residential complex: builders have begun laying the foundations of the houses of the first stage. Work is proceeding as planned, the development of excavation pits has already been completed at the facility and the foundation slabs have been prepared.
By the end of the week, specialists will complete the concrete preparation and reinforcement of the foundation slabs for the three buildings of the first stage. At the same time, preparations for the next stage will begin at the site — work on the installation of piles for buildings 4 and 5 will begin in the near future. The active immersion of the piles will begin immediately after the necessary tests have been carried out.
"Our first project in the Murmansk region will become a modern and comfortable space in Kola, where residents will be able to spend their time usefully and with pleasure. Of course, we pay special attention to safety issues, and we use special technologies and materials to increase the resilience of homes to the harsh northern climate. All work is being carried out in accordance with the schedule, and we will soon begin the construction of the first monolithic vertical structures," said Olga Shchilova, Director of the North–West cluster of the Aeroplane Group.
The Kola Lights project is being implemented by the Aeroplane development group with the support of the government of the Murmansk Region as part of the strategic development plan "Live in the North!". It is planned to complete the construction of the entire project in 2029. Apartments can be purchased in the residential complex under the Arctic Mortgage program at 2% per annum.
As a reminder, 16 residential buildings are currently under construction in the Murmansk Region. Of the 2,084 apartments in them, 68% will be put up for sale. In addition, in 2025, it is planned to launch the construction of at least six more houses for a total of 931 apartments. In total, about 1 million square meters are planned to be built in the region over the next 10 years, including within the framework developed for the main settlements of the Murmansk region. m housing.
