On the eve of Arctic Day, Governor Andrey Chibis took part in a meeting of the State Commission chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
At the meeting, they worked out the specific parameters of a comprehensive project for the development of the Arctic, developed at the site of the relevant commission of the State Council under the leadership of Andrei Chibis.
"The comprehensive project for the development of the Arctic and the TTC, which we discussed with Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin at the end of last year, should include a clear action plan. But the main thing is the implementation tools: consolidation of management and financial resources. It is important not only to pool budgetary funds, but also to create understandable mechanisms for attracting private capital through existing and new development institutions. I thank Yuri Petrovich Trutnev, Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev, the Maritime Board, the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Rosatom State Corporation and all my colleagues for turning this idea into a concrete result," the governor commented.
