Governor Andrey Chibis held a number of working meetings in Moscow with the heads of federal authorities.
The main purpose of the meeting with Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov was to work out issues of federal financial support for the region.
With Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Maxim Oreshkin, they discussed the renovation of the port, gasification of the Murmansk region, master plans for supporting agglomerations and the development of the Northern Sea Route.
"These are just some of the questions. We talked about the current status of the work and plans. We are working on each of these points with the support of Maxim Stanislavovich. I thank him for his assistance in such important topics for the region," Governor Andrey Chibis said following the results.
During the meeting with the Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov, Governor Andrey Chibis was awarded the medal "For Assistance to the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia". The head of the region thanked Alexey Chekunkov for productive cooperation and support of the region on important issues.
