At an operational meeting in the regional government, Governor Andrey Chibis summed up the results of a working trip to the Murmansk Region by Maxim Oreshkin, Assistant to the President of Russia for Economic and Social Affairs, and Alexey Chekunkov, Head of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.


"The main objectives of the trip were to visit our key investment projects, educational facilities, a detour of Murmansk for the need for additional investments and, of course, a visit to the military and military deployment areas. The program was extensive, detailed and in–depth," the governor said and thanked Maxim Oreshkin and Alexey Chekunkov for their scrupulous approach to all issues important for the development of the region. 


"According to Maxim Stanislavovich, Murmansk is a 100% strong city with great potential. In addition, he supported us in all aspects related to the issues of the renovation program of BUT – those settlements where our military and their families live. Together we will continue to work on making all the decisions necessary for the development of the Murmansk Region, Murmansk and other support cities of the Arctic, which we discussed at the meeting of the working group of the State Council," said the head of the region Andrey Chibis.
