Housing construction in the Murmansk region continues to gain momentum. The regional Ministry of Construction told about the implementation of which projects will begin in the near future.
"Two more private developers are currently preparing to launch projects. Thus, TSD Group plans to start construction of a 15-storey residential building on General Zhurba Street in Murmansk in the second quarter of 2026. LLC ArktikInvestResurs, which is building the Mayak residential complex on Shevchenko Street in Murmansk, is issuing a construction permit for a similar residential complex on Sedova Street. The developer intends to start the construction of a modern high-rise building in the near future," said Alexandra Karpova, Minister of Construction of the Murmansk Region.
As the head of the regional Ministry of Construction emphasized, 21 multi-apartment buildings are already being built in the Murmansk region. The private developer Akademicheskaya Management Company LLC has begun construction of a 4-storey apartment building on Polyarnaya Street in Zelenoborsky as part of an agreement on the implementation of a large-scale investment project. The contractor has already designed the excavation. Apartments in the future new building are being purchased by the administration of the Kandalaksha district for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing.
Recall that thanks to the systematic work of Governor Andrey Chibis and the government of the Murmansk region, housing construction is being revived in the region. The development mechanisms in this direction were the programs "Your home in the Arctic", "Family Mortgage" and "Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage", which was extended to the regions of the Russian Arctic on the initiative of the head of the region.
