Murmansk collagen is entering the South Korean market

The Murmansk‑based manufacturer of marine collagen, the company RMM Bioinnovations, has received certification for supplies to South Korea. The production facility has been inspected to ensure compliance with the requirements of Korean legislation.

RMM Bioinnovations was founded in Murmansk in 2020 and is the first company in Russia to produce low‑molecular‑weight collagen from Atlantic cod. The company oversees the entire production cycle: from the supply of fresh raw materials to laboratory control, purification, and the final packaging of the finished product.

In 2025, the plant underwent certification under the HACCP system, and its products received an international Halal certificate. The company also obtained the necessary permits to supply its products to a number of foreign markets, including Japan, Brazil, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. With the assistance of the Murmansk Region Export Support Center, the RMM Bioinnovations plant entered the Belarusian market by signing a contract with a large pharmacy chain in the country. By the end of the year, the company plans to further expand its exports to the Middle East and is working on obtaining the “Made in Russia” label.

In addition, to promote its products on the domestic market, the company has joined the “Growth Platform” program and will receive comprehensive support for promoting its products on Wildberries.
