Murmansk Region business representatives are invited to the Retail Days in Nizhny Novgorod

The interregional forum of business and government "Days of Retail in Nizhny Novgorod" will be held in Nizhny Novgorod from August 27 to 28, 2026.

The key platform for the exchange of successful regional practices, the presentation of industry solutions and the establishment of new business contacts will bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, retail chains, marketplaces, manufacturers, suppliers, industry associations and the expert community.

The central event of the business program will be the plenary session "Trade Model: Reality without illusions". Representatives of business and government will consider the new conditions for the development of the industry, the transformation of consumer demand, the interaction of federal and regional companies, as well as the growth points of the industry.

The practical part of the program will include workshops on category management and digital merchandising. Participants will get acquainted with assortment management and negotiation tools with suppliers, as well as learn how digitalization of shelf space helps to increase the efficiency of display and increase sales.

The second day of the forum will be devoted to practical issues of retail business development, including marketing, automation and aerologistics, interaction with marketplaces, franchising and trade regulation. The participants will discuss the use of artificial intelligence, automation of business processes and the implementation of technological solutions in the operational activities of retailers. Special attention will be paid to the preparation of retailers and manufacturers for the new rules of the "Russian shelf" in the categories of beauty and care.

Business and government representatives will also consider practical aspects of introducing tobacco retail licensing, organizing control procedures, and measures to reduce illegal product trafficking.

The participants will discuss the working conditions of manufacturers on marketplaces, transparency of commissions and tariffs, support for domestic brands and promotion of regional products.
