The results of the second competitive selection for the provision of subsidies to small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of creative industries have been summed up. Based on the results of the competitive selection, the five best projects were selected, which cover filmmaking, folk crafts, gastronomy, design and visual content.
So, among the winners:
- LLC "REC.A" with the documentary "The Point of the Northern Latitude" about the inaccessible places of the Kola North;
- individual entrepreneur Evgenia Mostovaya with the project "Arctic school of young artisan" in Polar Dawns;
- individual entrepreneur Evgeny Nikishaev with the gastrolaboratory "Northern Atom: the taste of Polar Dawns";
- UMBATRIVEL LLC with the creation of a modern cultural brand of the Arctic through design and products;
- individual entrepreneur Diana Tsvelich with the project "North in the frame — Arctic content production" to create visual materials to promote tourism and entrepreneurial projects in the region.
"This year alone, about 20 applications have been received for the competition, and the total amount of supported projects in the field of contemporary art and creative industries is almost 4 million rubles. We can see how the number of initiatives is growing: from clothes with a northern flavor to gastrolabs and documentaries. It is important that all of them are focused on promoting the cultural code of the Murmansk region, preserving traditions and developing regional identity. Supporting creative industries is one of the key objectives of the national program "Live in the North!", and we will continue to create conditions for creative entrepreneurs to realize their ideas in their native region," Olga Obukhova said.
All winning projects will be implemented by the end of 2026.
The competition was held within the framework of the Murmansk Region's state program "Culture" and is aimed at supporting creative industries, developing entrepreneurial activity in the field of culture and creating new points of attraction in the region.
