A delegation from the Altai Territory is working in the Murmansk Region this week. At an official meeting with the delegation, Svetlana Panfilova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region and Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, presented the region's economic potential and ongoing projects, as well as spoke about the fishing industry and tourism in the Arctic. Colleagues from the Altai Territory presented the main vectors of industrial and production development in their region.
The parties discussed the main directions of interregional cooperation and development prospects, consolidating the agreements by signing an Action Plan for 2025-2028 for the implementation of the Agreement on Trade, Economic, Scientific, technical and Cultural Cooperation between the Administration of the Altai Territory and the Government of the Murmansk Region. As part of the business part of the visit, several specialized round tables were held on cooperation between the Altai Territory and the Murmansk region in the field of mining, metallurgy and fuel and energy complex; food; sanatorium and resort tourism. Negotiations were also held on the supply of local fish products.
In the coming days, a delegation from the Altai Territory will visit production facilities and sites in the Murmansk Region. The delegation is headed by Vitaly Snesar, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Altai Territory and Head of the Administration of the Governor and the Government of the Altai Territory. The delegation included Vyacheslav Khimochka, Minister of Industry and Energy of the Altai Territory, heads of enterprises producing boiler equipment, polymer composite materials, products of the flour and cereal industry, cheeses, as well as representatives of sanatorium-resort institutions, a fish processing company and a school catering complex.
