Murmansk Region is a region of opportunities: the absolute leader in the Russian Arctic in terms of investments and the number of residents

Over the period from 2019 to 2025, the volume of investments in fixed assets in the Murmansk Region amounted to almost 1.8 trillion rubles. This was announced by Governor Andrey Chibis as part of a report at the Forum of Supporters of the United Russia Party in Murmansk on April 18.

"The Murmansk Region remains the leader in terms of investments and the number of residents in the Arctic zone. To date, there are 311 residents of the Russian Arctic, and 7 residents within the framework of the first priority development territory "Capital of the Arctic" created in the Russian Arctic. The volume of actual investments amounted to about 300 billion rubles, and residents created more than 5,000 jobs," said the head of the region.

Investment activity covers a wide range of industries, including tourism, services, construction, logistics, as well as other priority areas of the economy of the Kola Arctic.
The Murmansk Region continues to increase its investment potential due to the effective operation of preferential regimes and support for strategically important projects. The region remains attractive to investors, offering a wide range of business development opportunities in the Arctic.

"The economy is the basis of people's lives, the basis of the funds that are invested in the social environment, and given the strategic nature of our region, developing this area is our main task. Thanks to the active position of labor collectives, companies and the support of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the Murmansk region is developing and confidently moving forward, despite the sanctions pressure," the head of the region emphasized.
