The delegation of the Murmansk Region is taking part in the VI International Tourism Forum "Travel!", a key event of the Russian tourism industry on a global scale. The forum takes place from June 10 to 14 at VDNH in Moscow and brings together industry professionals and a wide audience of travelers. The number of visitors is expected to exceed half a million people.
The delegation of the Murmansk Region is headed by Deputy Governor Alexandra Kondaurova. The delegation includes representatives of the regional Ministry of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, the Agency for Tourism Development and Promotion of the Murmansk Region, tour operators and hoteliers, as well as representatives of industry infrastructure from Monchegorsk and Pechenga Municipal District.
The unique format of the "Travel!" forum allows regions to demonstrate their tourism potential and a variety of types of tourism. The stands will represent more than 80 regions of Russia and over 20 foreign countries.
The color and stylistic solution of the Murmansk Region stand is built around the theme of Arctic water and waves as a unifying symbol. The wave defines a non-standard shape of the structure and connects the images of the northern seas, lakes, movement and travel. The blue color, smooth shapes, the map of the territory, large typography and decorative elements attract attention and should definitely be remembered by visitors. The stand introduces the key tourist routes of the Murmansk region, historical and cultural sites, natural attractions and Arctic cuisine — all that attracts the guests of the region so much. Visitors to the stand will also be offered branded ice cream, gifts and souvenirs for participating in stand activities and subscribing to the official social networks of the region.
Visitors to the forum will be able to continue their acquaintance with the North at the House of Russian Cuisine: there will be a 20% discount on the menu of the corner of the Murmansk region from the ARCTIC MOON project using special coupons, as well as workshops on Arctic cuisine.
The business program of the international Travel Forum includes more than 40 events and 300 speakers. One of the central events will be the plenary session "Development of tourism and hospitality in cities with high scientific and technological potential. The position and opportunities of big business". Vice Governor Alexandra Kondaurova will talk about the Murmansk Region's path from exporting resources to exporting impressions.
The Roscongress Foundation, together with the Ministry of Economic Development and with the support of the Russian Government, is the organizer of the international travel forum "Travel!".
