MURMANSK REGION WILL RECEIVE 42 MILLION RUBLES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TOURISM PROJECTS

Grants for the development of domestic and inbound tourism are provided for the first time. The Government of the Russian Federation has allocated a subsidy of 1.2 billion rubles for the implementation of this new support measure in tourism. More than 4,000 projects participated in the competition, and 472 won. 16 of them will be implemented in the Murmansk region.

Grants will be given to entrepreneurs who will help change the image of Russian tourism in the coming years – make it more accessible, interesting and diverse.

So, the subsidy will be given to the project of creating a restaurant on the Sredny Peninsula. One of the tour operators will use the grant funds to buy a minibus with equipment for transporting people with disabilities.

Recipients will invest their own funds in their project – at least 30% of the amount of the requested grant.
