Representatives of the Murmansk Region took part in an internship at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia under the Federal Practice program

On April 3-4, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade held an internship in Pskov for representatives of regional executive authorities, development institutes and industrial enterprises of the North-Western Federal District.

A delegation from the Murmansk Region also took part in the event.

The internship was dedicated to the implementation of national technological leadership projects and the development of the industrial potential of the regions.

The delegation from the Murmansk Region included representatives of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region and regional industrial enterprises.: NPC PROGRESS LLC, SPTB ZVEZDOCHKA JSC, Arsenal JSC, Lovozersky GOK LLC, as well as Murmansk Region Development Corporation JSC.

On the first day of the program, the participants discussed topical issues of the implementation of national projects "Industrial support for transport mobility", "Technological provision of food security", "New materials and chemistry", "Nuclear energy systems", "Development of electronic and radioelectronic industry", "Means of production and automation", "Personnel".

The second day of the event began with a welcoming speech by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

"It's no coincidence that we decided to start with the Northwestern Federal District, which is one of the largest industrial centers in our country. It accounts for over 13% of the country's industrial production, and we have leading shipbuilding and automotive enterprises here, with the chemical industry and pharmaceuticals actively developing," Anton Alikhanov said.

Svetlana Panfilova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk Region and Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region, presented a report for the 1st quarter of 2025 "On the implementation of the Action Plan aimed at developing the Industrial Potential of the Murmansk Region for 2025-2027."

In her speech, she spoke about the strategic directions of industrial development in the region and identified key points contributing to the growth of the industry.

"By the end of the year, we plan to achieve all the planned values of the region's development indicators," Svetlana Panfilova said.

Separately, the Vice Governor noted that all key investment projects, including those included in the action plan aimed at developing the industrial potential of the Murmansk region, are included in the strategic plan of the Murmansk region "Live in the North!", and they are monitored on an ongoing basis.

The internship became an important stage in the development of the industrial potential of the Northwestern Federal District, contributing to the strengthening of interregional cooperation and the creation of new production links between enterprises in the region. During the event, the foundations for the formation of technological partnerships were laid, promising areas of industrial development were considered.
