Since March 1, applications for a grant under the «Governors Startup» program are accepted

Applications for participation in the competition for the provision of governor's startups – free grants to support entrepreneurial initiatives-are already open. Applicants can be beginning and existing entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses registered and operating in the Murmansk region.

The maximum amount of subsidy for one applicant will be up to 1 million rubles, and you can also get a preferential microloan of up to 1 million rubles at 4% per annum.

Today starts a new process for the submission of applications to the Governor's startup. Business ideas in the field of manufacturing and tourism are fully welcome. 15 million rubles are provided for the implementation of the winning projects, " said the Governor of the Murmansk Region, Andrey Chibis.

A new form of support for small and medium – sized businesses-the "Governor's Startup" program - was created last year on the initiative of the head of the region Andrey Chibis. In 2020, 37 projects became the winners of the competition. Their implementation allowed to open 158 new jobs in seven municipalities of the region.

This year, applications for participation in the competition are accepted from March 1 to March 26 at the Murmansk Regional Innovation Business Incubator at the addresses: Murmansk, Podstanitskogo str., 1 and Apatity, Lenin str., 27. Also, documents can be sent by e-mail grant@mribi.ru.
