The AZRF resident will produce camouflage kits for gardening, hunting and fishing in the Murmansk region

Yaroslav Mironenko, an individual entrepreneur with the status of a resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF), organizes the production of camouflage kits in the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region. The company's products will be in demand from farmers, hunters and fishermen. The production capacity is 5,450 camouflage kits per year. Under the agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (CRDV), the investor will invest 2.5 million rubles. Production will begin in February 2025. 


"We will produce camouflage kits made of spunbond in various colors – from white to dark camouflage colors. We plan to produce the networks in small batches and on individual orders. The plans include the manufacture of goods for hunting and fishing, and the production of covering materials for greenhouses," Yaroslav Mironenko said. 


The production facility will be located in Kandalaksha. According to the entrepreneur, this will allow scaling up production, since the city is an important transport hub for the region. 


"The preferential treatment of the AZRF allows an entrepreneur to simplify doing business in the Arctic: the KRDV provides residents with tax benefits, administrative and consulting support, accompanying investment projects in a single window at all stages of implementation," said Alexander Shutov, Director of the Murmansk KRDV. 


Residents of the Russian Arctic in the Murmansk Region are not subject to land tax for 3 years and property tax for 5 years. The CRDV subsidizes 75% of insurance premiums during 10 years of residency. During the first 5 years, the income tax rate is 5%, from the fifth to the tenth years – 10%.There are 297 residents of the Russian Arctic in the Murmansk Region. Businesses have already invested 53.02 billion rubles in the region's economy and created 3,088 jobs. 50 investment projects have been put into operation.
