The delegation of the Murmansk Region took part in the International Forum on the Development of Unmanned Systems "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future", held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center as part of the Archipelago 2025 design and educational intensive.
The Forum has become a key platform for discussing the prospects for the development of unmanned technologies, sharing experiences between leading experts and industry representatives.
The main focus of the program is on strategic issues of the development of the unmanned systems industry. The event was attended by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, and Andrey Nikitin, Head of the Russian Ministry of Transport.
The Murmansk Region delegation was led by Vice Governor Svetlana Panfilova and attended the forum's plenary session on key areas of industry development.
"The participation of the Murmansk Region in such a forum is not only an opportunity to present our developments, such as the unmanned boat of the Murmansk company NPK Progress. First of all, this is a chance to be at the center of discussions on key areas of development of this strategically important industry, adopt best practices, form partnerships and, as a result, contribute to the development and implementation of unmanned technologies in our region, strengthening its technological sovereignty and economic potential," said Svetlana Panfilova.
In addition to a rich business program, an exhibition of unmanned systems and developments from various companies was organized at the forum. The Murmansk Region presented at the exhibition a prototype of a crewless boat developed by a resident of the Russian Arctic, NPK Progress LLC. This prototype will be able to deliver loads weighing up to 1 ton to remote and hard-to-reach areas of the region. After successful tests, it is planned to create a more powerful vessel following his example. The developers dedicated the project to the feat of the "Fog", which during the war years, sacrificing itself, saved the Northern Fleet from an enemy attack.
