An Export Day dedicated to the national project "International Cooperation and Export" was held at the international exhibition and forum "Russia" at VDNH in Moscow. Representatives of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region took part in the business program of the events.
The Export Day began with an interactive presentation of the My Export digital platform, which offers businesses 125 financial and non-financial services that simplify work in foreign markets. At the plenary session in the format of an Export Drive master lecture with the participation of Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the Russian Export Center, they discussed ways to develop domestic exports in the past, present and future. Representatives of leading Russian companies shared their experience of entering and working in foreign markets: Rosatom, Transmashholding, EFKO, etc.
The guests of the Export Day were able to attend a session of the Ministry of Industry and Trade "Export as a driver of economic growth of regions", a business game for entrepreneurs and young professionals "Export Regatta" from the Russian Export Center, as well as a round table on the topic of training in the field of foreign economic activity from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the School of Export REC.
Two events were organized for companies that allowed them to communicate with representatives of the business community and experts and share their experience in the global market: the session "How to create an international startup and accompany 100+ brands in Asian online markets" and the presentation of successful export cases in the field of high-tech products.
A separate direction of the Export Day was devoted to the youth agenda. Thus, young entrepreneurs, schoolchildren, applicants and students whose interests are related to the field of foreign economic activity were able to participate in the business game of the Export School of the REC "Export. Career Track", as well as listen to the session "International Cooperation of Young Industrialists", which was held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Club of Young Industrialists and Rosmolodezh.
At the Murmansk Region stand, guests of the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the export potential of the region, large exporting enterprises in such industries as mining, metallurgy, fishing, as well as organizations exporting tourist services.
It should be noted that according to the results of foreign trade activities in 2023, among the subjects of the Russian Federation that are part of the Northwestern Federal District, the Murmansk Region ranks third in terms of exports. The geography of supplies is 58 countries (including the CIS, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, North and Latin America).
