The government held a meeting with the management of PJSC ROSSETI North-West, chaired by Alla Istomina, Deputy Governor and Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services.
The event was also attended by Deputy Governor Olga Vovk, representatives of relevant authorities, and the Murmansk Region Development Corporation.
"We need to work together to develop an approach to solving the issues of technical connection to the electric grid, which will significantly minimize the level of connection costs for the applicant, thereby improving the investment attractiveness of the region. The regional government is ready to assist in every possible way in developing common solutions that are optimal for all participants in the process. After all, every investor who leaves is not only a loss for the region, but also a lost income for the further development of the network organization," emphasized Alla Istomina.
Representatives of PJSC ROSSETI North-West got acquainted with the map of investment projects in the Murmansk region, as well as with master plans for the development of Arctic support settlements in the Murmansk Region, and commented on the methodology for calculating the cost of connection.
During the discussion, agreements were reached to consider the possibility of submitting centralized applications for technological connection from several investors whose land plots are located close to each other, which will proportionally reduce the financial burden.
In addition, in the near future, the task has been set to jointly develop a program for the development of the Murmansk Region's electric grid complex.
It should be noted that this work is being carried out in order to implement the "Live in the North" strategy and is aimed at the development of the Murmansk Region and the entire Arctic.
