
During a working meeting with Gazprom Promgaz JSC, chaired by Alla Istomina, Deputy Governor and Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, the details of the formation of a regional gasification program for housing and communal services, industrial and other organizations of the Murmansk region were discussed.
The event was attended by representatives of relevant authorities, municipalities, JSC Murmanoblgaz.
"The gasification of the Murmansk Region is a strategic project that will close the issue of the region's fuel oil dependence, will become an impetus for the development of new production facilities and the creation of new jobs. But before that happens, we have a lot of preparatory work ahead of us. Today we will coordinate the prospective volumes of natural gas for all categories of consumers and discuss the placement of gas pipelines in the territories of municipalities," emphasized Alla Istomina.
The regional gasification program for housing and communal services, industrial and other organizations in the Murmansk region is a detailed plan for the years, which includes the volume of natural gas consumption, the length of main transport facilities and gas pipelines, the level of potential gasification of the population, the transfer of boilers, industrial and other organizations to natural gas.
Recall that the abandonment of fuel oil dependence and the conversion of boilers to gas is included in the strategic plan for the development of the region "To live in the North", which was initiated by the Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis. The strategic plan until 2030 is based on the national goals set by the President of Russia, and taking into account 72,000 proposals from the northerners.
