The Government of the Russian Federation allocates 37.7 billion rubles for the comprehensive development of the Murmansk transport hub. This was announced by the governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis on the social networks "Telegram" and "Vkontakte".
"Thanks to the construction of the MTU, more than 1,800 new jobs will be created, and the transshipment of the port of Murmansk will increase by 18 million tons per year. Thanks to all colleagues from the federal government and personally to First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov and Deputy Prime Minister Marat Shakirzyanovich Khusnullin for supporting this strategically important project for the whole country," the head of the region wrote.
