The Governor discussed the prospects of cooperation with the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus

The Governor of the Murmansk region held a working meeting with the Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in St. Petersburg Nikolai Rogozhnik. The main topic of discussion was the strengthening of bilateral ties and the expansion of joint projects.

"Our cooperation is actively developing. Everything that we agreed on with colleagues at previous meetings and on trips has been fulfilled – BelAZ is working, the classroom in Apatity is open – we train students, 200 units of equipment provide passenger transportation in cities and towns of the Murmansk region. Of course, we continue to work on an important project, the most key and significant one is the construction of a terminal in the port of Murmansk. I am sure that everything will work out! The positive dynamics is an obvious factor," Andrei Chibis stressed.

In turn, Nikolai Rogozhnik thanked the head of the region for the meeting, noting that effective cooperation between the countries continues and meets mutual interests. This is the first visit of a diplomat as Consul General to the Murmansk Region, which began with a visit to the BELAZ regional repair and service center.

"Yesterday we visited the service center, preparatory work is already being completed there. I know that you were invited to the opening, the leadership of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus will also take part in it, other colleagues. We see our equipment on the streets of the city. Thank you, Andrey Vladimirovich, for your support. We are ready to continue this work at a given pace," Nikolai Rogozhnik said.
