During an operational meeting in the government of the Murmansk Region, Governor Andrey Chibis announced the launch this year of the second stage of the grant competition within the framework of the "Governor's Start" program to support entrepreneurial initiatives.
"The amount of the grant is still up to 2 million rubles for various business ideas, including those implemented on the territory of border, remote settlements where the military live, BUT also single-industry towns," said Andrey Chibis.
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted at the Murmansk Regional Innovative Business Incubator until October 3. Almost 20 million rubles will be allocated to support the second stage.
"I invite all enterprising entrepreneurs who want to start their own business, and enterprising Northerners who are ready to become entrepreneurs, to take part in the competition and receive support. Let me remind you that in total, within the framework of this program, we have supported 119 projects in different parts of our region," the head of the region said.
