Traditionally, Entrepreneurship Days are held in the Murmansk Region in April. Governor Andrey Chibis noted that this year the program was formed in seven directions. "This is education, exhibitions, sales, contests. Several tracks are dedicated to information support and investments. The program can be found on the website of the Ministry of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region," the head of the region said.
The purpose of the events is the development of professional competencies, the exchange of experience and new ideas in the business community of the region, as well as the popularization of entrepreneurship. They will end with an expanded meeting of the Council for the Export and Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses under the Government of the Murmansk Region. The head of the region also recalled that investment specialists have been working in the Murmansk Region since 2021.
"Now the list of their duties includes solving the problems of entrepreneurs. This year they will also take part in expanded meetings in all municipalities. At meetings with residents in municipalities, I always ask those present from the business community questions about people who are authorized to be responsible for investments in municipalities, and the reviews really say that this system works," Andrei Chibis said.
Artem Kuksa, Acting Director General of the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, spoke about the results of work in the 1st quarter of 2023.
